Tuesday Night Throwdown

It’s here. Dueling Axes Las Vegas, along with our sponsors of Stella Artois and Nevada Beverage, present: Tuesday Night Throwdown – a 32-participant, double elimination bracketed tournament to kick off our Spring Axe Throwing League and help fight leukemia for local 3-year-old, Enzo. During the tournament, $2 of every pint and $5 of every pitcher sold of Stella will be donated toward this cause. Compete for your chance to win CASH prizes, freebies, entry to our spring league, and free entry into other AREA15 experiences.

Tournament Held on Tuesday, March 29

The Deets

  • When: Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
  • Time: Tournament game play starts at 6pm (check in begins at 5:30pm)
  • Who: Entry is open to individuals of all ages
  • How Much: $25/person
  • What: 32-participant, double elimination, bracketed style tournament
    • Randomized first round seeding
    • Personal axes permitted pending inspection from Dueling Axes staff. Must meet WATL tournament axe guidelines
    • Drink specials menu for participants during the tournament
      • Special pricing on Stella and Michelob Ultra pitchers ($5 of every pitcher and $2 of every pint sold will be donated to help fight Leukemia)

regulation throwing axe

All axes must conform to the following standards:

  • The axe head can weigh up to 2lbs maximum.
  • The blade on the head should be no longer than 4.75″ maximum.
  • The handle may be made of wood, steel or plastic and length be at least 12″ inches long, including the handle in the eye of the head of the axe.
    • The length includes the top head of the axe where the wood is inserted, to the bottom of the shaft.
